National Honor Society

Tonight Taryn was inducted into the National Honor Society. Here she is lighing her candle.

Taryn had the honor of not only being selected to join but she was also the youngest inductee at her school ever. She is also the only Freshman to ever be inducted.

She was considered so early because she has credits equal to that of a mid-year sophmore, her record of service, her leadership skills and her grade point average of 3.9.

She recieved a NHS medal, and a certificate. We are so proud of her.

After the cerimony there were refreshments and lots of time for friends, most of which are in NHS & Odyessy with Hyun & Taryn.

Hyun was the Proud brother watching his little sister. Hyun and Taryns Odyessy of the Mind team qualified for states and will be competing to go to Nationals at the end of the month.

  1. All I can say is Fabulous, Fabulous! I'm sooooo proud of you, Taryn, and so would have been your great granddparents Elwood and Thelma Hansen. Their mantra was always one of high educational accomplishments and I'm sure your desire to be a marine biologist can surely be in your future. GOOD GOING!!!!
