HONORING OUR DEAR DEPARTED

Here's the floral arrangements on Elwood and Thelma's grave in foreground and  grandparents James and Elaine Hansen in background.
Then before an inch of rain fell I took a bouquet to Henry and Zella's grave in Paradise.  All were from starts that she grew around her house.

On the way past the church to visit with Uncle Del and Aunt Carol I took this photo of what remains of the old Paradise church which was razed just last week.  Everything inside was either sold or given to anyone who wanted or could use the things inside.  It was a poignant moment for many who had attended that church for many years.  The rubble left in photo should be removed soon and the new building will commence.

I planted a few colorful flowers in containers in front of house yesterday and then I drove to the cemetery again to take another photo of dad's grave with the American flag included.  I trimmed off the Virginia creeper to make it look nice, than walked around cemetery (haven't walked much since my return from AZ) and talked to some of you at the same time.  It was a beautiful day after three days of cold, rain and snow on little baldy.

I got three tomato plants in last week, the rest of the beets and spinach and will put three variety of squash in this afternoon.
