Pumpkin decorations

This year our pumpkins escaped a vicious butchering because Katie wanted to try and decorate them on the outside. At first I was against this until she told me we could make pumpkin pies later if the pumpkins remained intact......that's a good enough reason for me!

  1. Yep, that's a great way to get best use of a pumpkin. Remember that 110 lb. pumpkin on US Oval that Rebecca won when she guessed the correct weight. Brady did an adorable face on it and then I spent about 8 hours cooking it so I could freeze meat and make you pumpkin pies all year. Hope she finds a faster way to cook it than I did.
